I have had the error occur when playing WoW, but WoW can recover from it without crashing the client. (It is also important to note that this issue is probably not localized to just Fallout. Listed for posterity in case anyone else on the planet is googling those specific parts or whatever. In my case my system specs are:Ĭrucial 250g SSD (and a Seagate 2TB that actually has Fallout and all my other Steam games on it) Any unsaved progress is lost and it's a real headache. For me it has been between 5 and 20 minutes at a clip.
The issue, specifically, that I and some others have been dealing with is that the display driver stops responding and subsequently crashes Fallout 4 fairly often.
